Baptism An ongoing program of formation exists for adults who wish to join the Church through the celebration of the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist). These sacraments are celebrated each year at the Easter Vigil. The baptism of infants takes place during a scheduled Sunday liturgy. Parents who present children to be baptized are expected to be registered and practicing members of the parish. Parents are expected to participate in the sacraments of initiation course, which may occur prior to the birth of the child. Please call Parish Office for more information. Sacrament of Matrimony Those seeking to be married at St. Theresa's must be active members of the parish. Children of parishioners who who are not in St. Theresa's and new parishioners need a letter indicating their active status in their parish. New parishioners without such a letter will need to be active at St. Theresa's for three months before becoming eligible to begin the six month preparation for the Sacrament of Matrimony. Ministry to the Sick and Shut-Ins Please call the office to arrange for a pastoral visit by the priest for Holy Communion, Confession, or Anointing of the Sick (Last Rites). Eucharistic Ministers are also available for regular reception of the Eucharist. Parish Membership New Parishioners are always welcome! Please call the office so we can welcome you to our Parish Family. You will be asked to complete a parish census form. |
